In Memoriam

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Edwin Young on August 31, 2007.
Ed was an active member of NMCA and a former board member. Edwin is survived by his wife, Margaret Bartholow, his children, grandchildren sister Dorothy Dressler plus numerous extended family and
friends. Ed was a WWII Royal Canadian Navy volunteer, McGill University
graduate, and rose to VP of Lord Electric in NYC, then the nation's
largest electrical contractor, working closely with IBEW Local 3. He
was a Democratic Party activist and later local AARP spokesperson,
and proud member
of the Heather and Thistle Society.
Ed's wisdom, candor and dedication to our neighborhood will be missed. Our prayers are with Margaret and his family.
